There’s a few things that make Med 54 stand out from the crowd, the primary element being the staff that serve there. Headed up by Gregg and supported by a great team; which includes Brett, Sasha, Charlotte & Phil, you’ll not find a more friendly and welcoming team anywhere else on the island.
The second element that makes Med 54 so attractive is the quality and prices of their food and drinks. They have a small but great menu supported by special nights such as Wednesday and Thursday Steak night where you get 2 x 300g sirloin steak served with fat chips, slaw and a choice of pepper sauce, blue cheese or herb butter plus 1 bottle of house wine for just €30.
Also very popular is Burger and Beer night with Angus beef, bacon, cheddar cheese, onion ring, BBQ sauce, fat chips & coleslaw plus 1 pint of Estrella Galicia for only €10 and Fish & Chips Friday with beer battered cod, fat chips, homemade mushy peas & tartare sauce.
The third reason why Med 54 is so good is the community it is located in. Situated between the tourist resorts of Magaluf and Santa Ponsa but far enough away from them to think that they did not exist, the prior fishing village of El Toro is now home to a good assortment of locals and expats. You’ll find a friendly bunch of Scottish, English, Welsh and German customers at Med 54 combined with guests from the nearby 5 star hotel and passengers and crew from Port Adriano.
Med 54 has quickly made a name for itself and has a 5 star rating on Tripadvisor from over 100 reviews.
Sports fans are well catered for at Med 54, they have a couple of well-positioned TVs and show Premier League fixtures and most big sporting events.
Med 54 has a fantastic atmosphere about it and during the summer, the outside area is very attractive with fairy lights but get there early if you want a table outside, there are just a few available.
Highly recommended by the Mallorca Insider team is the Sunday Roast, check out the Med 54 Facebook page for details.
